Remembering SORRY Day

Today is the final day of National Reconciliation Week here in Australia; which makes current events in the US all the more poignant and shocking. But, we all need to get our own houses in order.

We are reminded of more hopeful times ... like this design from 2008 and the copy that went along with it.

Elton John got it right in 1976 when he wrote:
"Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word."

We received an email from Sydney CustOMER Siobhan Hannan:

"I wonder if you could think about doing a special limited edition t-shirt to commemorate 13th Feb 2008 when the new Labor Government will at long last say SORRY to the stolen generation [of indigenous Australian children]? It's going to be a momentous occasion, meaningful, symbolic, and something we can all be proud of. What do you reckon?"

What a good idea.

Now, was that so hard?
