Here's one for you geeks from us geeks. Forget the Browser Wars. The real Netscape victory back in the day as far as we're concerned is the fact that their Broken Image symbol looked nicer than the other ones. If you're feeling confused, don't despair. We've always spent a lot of time online. Maybe you haven't. Maybe you never experienced the unhappy event of an image that was broken and couldn't be viewed on your screen. Never mind. But, if that's you ... this is what it once looked like. Pretty ... don't you think? Fair warning to passers by that things may not be as they seem.
