Change is Fun ... and, to that end, you may have noticed that our URL has changed from remogeneralstore.com to remosince1988.com so as to reflect the broadening of our scope from selling THINGS and DESIGNS to also telling STORIES. The new URL which mirrors the wording on our beloved long time head logo is both descriptive and distinctive. We hope you like it.

“Dagen H” (H Day) happened on 3 September 1967, the day that Sweden switched from driving on the left hand side of the road to the right. The "H" stands for "Högertrafik", the Swedish word for right hand traffic. It was by far the largest logistical event in Sweden's history, and the most massive overhaul in driving infrastructure that the world had ever seen. We love this design ... although, in truth, our sales expectations for it are low. Having said that, we showed it to a 15 year old friend of our god daughter last night who declared that she would like nothing better than to wear the design and then tell the story to whomever was curious enough to ask.

This week we launch a new idea at REMO, where we collaborate with a small network of gifted artists and designers from around the world to co-curate a selection of their work for presentation within the REMO designs portfolio. We are currently working with a handful of design visionaries, and we will be bringing them to you one by one.

In other news, last Friday here in Sydney some of us gathered together in the Town Hall as a community for the first time in three years for TEDxSydney 2022, our annual celebration of Australian ingenuity, creativity and passion; and what a day it was.



This year’s event was an especially poignant one for me. It was my last as CEO (home made clip for family watchable HERE) ... leaving  me with more time to focus on the development of REMO but this time with a focus on stories and ideas; and to regather, grow and engage a global community, essentially to complete what I started on that corner in Darlinghurst back in 1988. Full Circle. Unfinished Business. You. Will. See!
